The contest included dinner table setting for Chinese banquets and making a homestay bed. On the sideline of the contest, a display of local food feasts from 14 boutique homestays in Yanqing was also held, presenting a gala for foodies. A homestay housekeeper refers to a person who offers customized services related to lodging, catering and tourism guidance. Yanqing has organized a series of training to enhance the homestay catering service since November 2022, such as Chinese cuisine cooking and low tea pastry making.
